I've moved my blog over to my VPS running Railo and Mura. The domain will remain the same, but here's the URL anyway. http://lanctr.com/index.cfm/blog/

I'm With Stupid

General

We just launched stupidsem.com, take the quiz and see if your Search Engine Marketing strategy gives you the whole picture.

Also, the Century Interactive crew will be at the Search Engine Strategies conference in San Jose next week.  Stop by our booth and say hello.  We'll be answering questions about the services we provide, how to use them and whatthey mean to your business.  Our developers will be on hand for any technical questions you might have.  You could even win an "I'm with stupid" t-shirt.

I am on flexcf.com

General, Coldfusion, Flex, Presentations, Tutorials

Thanks to Paul Kukiel for getting my demo code up on http://flexcf.com/ Very cool!

Paul did most of the descriptive typing, so a big thanks go out to him.  The tutorial is related to my previous entry about moving data between CF8 and Flex 3 and focuses mainly on how I am moving images.

If you get a chance go check it out.  http://tutorial12.flexcf.com/

Side Pods, an Update

General

I've updated my Twitter pod to make links and twitter names clickable.  Loving me some RegEx right now.  To see how I converted the links see the entry below, or visit this link.

Side Pods

General, twitter, Flex

I've recreated many of my pods in flex.  The only one giving me issues is the twitter pod.  If you want to check em out, just look to the right side of the blog.

I'm working on getting the webcam image to update itself every 60 seconds.  The twitter feed will also auto refresh, once it's working that is.

If you'd like to use my flex pods let me know and I'll hook you up with the embed tags.
